Your degree deserves
a career.
GradBase connects South African graduates with employers who invest in their future, including paying off student debt. Because no qualified South African should be unemployed.
An initiative of the Full Stack Youth Development Agency, built on the principle of Ubuntu: I am because we are. Together, we resolve the challenge of qualified youth unemployment.
How GradBase Works
1. Register
Create your profile, upload your academic transcript, and verify your identity. Always 100% free for graduates.
2. Build Skills
Complete skills assessments, earn badges, climb leaderboards, and prove your capabilities to employers.
3. Get Matched
Employers search verified graduates by qualification, skills, location, and NQF level. Your talent finds the right opportunity.
4. Clear Debt
Employers can pledge to pay off your student debt as part of your employment package. Get hired, get free.
For Employers
Access a verified graduate database with SAQA/NQF-mapped qualifications. Post opportunities for free. Every hire through GradBase contributes to your B-BBEE scorecard, including Socio-Economic Development (SED) and Skills Development points. Student debt relief pledges qualify as Section 18A tax-deductible donations.
Institution Hubs
Every university and TVET college in South Africa has a dedicated hub on GradBase. Campus Champions volunteer to drive awareness, and Ambassadors lead the movement at their institution.
"Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu"
A person is a person through other people. GradBase exists because we believe that South Africa's qualified youth deserve the opportunity to contribute to our economy and our society. This is not charity: it is an investment in our collective future.
